What the tool checks.

SPF
Confirms which servers are allowed to send email for your domain, helping block spoofed or unauthorised messages.
DMARC
Sets rules for how suspicious emails should be handled, improving protection against spoofing and strengthening your domain’s trust.
DKIM
Adds a cryptographic signature to each email, proving it was genuinely sent from your domain and hasn’t been tampered with.
Understanding your results.
We use a simple traffic-light system to show how healthy your domain’s email security is:
Green
Your records are correctly set and your domain is well protected.
Amber
Your setup is partly correct but needs improvements to stay secure.
Red
Your records are missing or incorrect and require urgent attention.
Common issues when security measures aren't in place.
These are the problems we see most often when scanning domains, and they’re usually quick to fix once you know what’s going on.
Missing or weak DMARC.
DMARC is your domain’s defence line. Without it, or with a policy set too loosely, attackers can impersonate your email address and send spoofed messages that look convincingly real.
SPF errors.
SPF only works when it’s accurate. Old systems, forgotten services, or typos in the record can break it, making it harder for inboxes to trust your email (and easier for bad actors to exploit gaps).
DKIM not enabled.
If DKIM isn’t switched on, your emails aren’t digitally signed. That means mail providers can’t confirm they’re genuinely from you, which can lead to deliverability issues or message tampering.
